I don't know why I still look your way
After all you did to me the other day
it still baffles me why I still clamour you
Is it a spell or a voodoo?
well that was the good but bitter years
you can testify to it I guess.
Deep down you may not have known
the agony and sorrows you caused
my smile you took for granted
buried them six-feet under the earth
You gave my joy to the vultures
    some to the hungry lions
the dogs wagged their tail in anticipation
the bleaters also stood at attention
I gave you my hope, life and dreams
you took them to the foes and adversaries
I went hungry, I went black and blue
you never cared an atom, do you?
but that was the good but bitter years
which I never pray for anyone to witness.
